week 15, #2

Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired.

Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.

Even the rich are hungry for love, for being cared for, for being wanted, for having someone to call their own.

Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.

Good works are links that form a chain of love.

I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world.

(quotes from Mother Theresa)

I'm not very high on love.

Just being able to stand one person, day in, day out, and just being interested in conversation with that same person (all this after 45 years together) seems a whole lot more miracle than 'love.'
